Susan Wilson was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. She is a life long resident of Harrisburg; with a successful professional career of 28 years with (IBM) International Business Machines; she currently serves as a Logistics Program manager.

She is a 1975 graduate of Harrisburg High School and in 1979 earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from East Stroudsburg University.  Susan also, has various other IBM corporate management professional classes to her credit.

As of January 2010 Susan Brown-Wilson is chair of Budget and Finance Committee.

Susan served as an intern for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. As a parent of (4) four;  she knows being a role model is not only important but essential to every child’s development, she served as a volunteer for various activities in our local schools, this ultimately lead her to becoming a 7th and 8th grade track coach, as well as assisting with a summer track program.  She also continues to volunteer for the United Way Day of Caring, Adopt a School Programs and Special Olympics - annual Ice skating.  She served as Vice President of the School of Business and Industry Prep. Program and distinguished herself while serving as the Chair of the Educational Empowerment Team for the Harrisburg School District. Susan is also a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and has sponsored Jabberwocky Contestants.
